As compiled, lua50 cannot open large files (e.g., 2.2GB).
It should probably be compiled with large-file support turned on.
(Assuming upstream supports it.)

Hi,

The attached patch adds the _FILE_OFFSET_BITS macro as is defined in lua5.2.

This makes the stdio calls to use the O_LARGEFILE flag.
